BJP Members Raise Corruption Issues in MP Assembly

The ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh today suffered an embarrassment in the Assembly when three of its members raised issues of corruption in different regions of the state.The BJP members Vishwas Sarang, Arvind Bhadoria and Girija Shankar Sharma raised the issues in the Question Hour today. BJP MLA Girija Shankar Sharma referred to corruption in the construction of roads in Itarsi town and demanded a probe.
He referred to three roads which were re-laid in three years despite the rule that any road which was constructed once cannot be re-laid for seven years.
When the Congress also joined the ruling party members on the issue and cornered the government, the Speaker said that MLAs of the ruling party too could raise the issues in public interest.
